Norovirus Concerns Force Recall Of Raspberry Mousse Cake

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for raspberry mousse cakes, because of a concern over norovirus.

The cakes were distributed under various brand names, including Laura Secord, Top Dessert and Jessica, in several provinces including New Brunswick.

An updated notice on the CFIA website states that they have had reports of illness associated with individuals who have eaten the cakes.

The mousse cakes are sold frozen or refrigerated, or they have also been sold over the counter.

If you have purchased this product, you are advised not to eat it, throw it out or return it to the store where it was purchased.
