Erin Vringer of the Saint John Track & Field Club is back home after winning a silver medal in the girls under 16, 2000 metre run in Brandon, Manitoba. Vringer, who’s 13, was the youngest member of the New Brunswick team and one of the youngest in her event. She also set a new provincial record knocking over 9 seconds off her previous best time.
