The Chatham Ironmen clinched first place in the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League with a 5-4 win over the Fredericton Royals. Tonight, the Royals host the Saint John Alpines to determine second and third place.

Red Sox owner John Henry wants the city of Boston to change the name of Yawkey Way. Henry told the Boston Herald he’s haunted by the racist legacy of Tom Yawkey who owned the team from 1933 to 1976. The Red Sox were the last team in Major League Baseball to integrate, 12 years after Jackie Robinson broke the colour barrier.
NBA star Kevin Durant says he will not visit President Donald Trump at the White House if the champion Golden State Warriors are invited. Durant says he doesn’t respect Trump and doesn’t agree with what the President agrees with.
