The Sea Dogs make it official announcing they have acquired 19 year old forward Julian Gauthier of Val D’or
He had seven goals and 27 points in 23 games in his fourth season with the Foreurs.
Gauthier will join his new teammates Mathieu Joseph and Thomas Chabot who he just competing with at the World Juniors.
The Dogs also recently added Simon Bourque and Callum Booth.
Sea Dogs President Trevor Georgie says he’s excited to be here adding he’ll be a key player this season.
In coming to Saint John, Gauthier reunites with his World Juniors teamates Matthieu Joseph and Thomas Chabot.
The Sea Dogs are in action tonight, hosting the Acadie Bathurst Titan at 7pm at Harbour Station.
