Premier Brian Gallant paid a few visits to businesses in Moncton yesterday, including the Tangerine Contact centre.
He says business service centre industry is a priority sector for New Brunswick that employs thousands of people, and he believes there is an opportunity for even more growth.
The business services centres sector in the province includes administrative and support services, banking services and insurance carriers.
The sector employs 18,000 people, or one in every 20 working New Brunswickers. The sector offers career opportunities with some of the world’s most-recognized companies including Tangerine, RBC, TD Insurance, WestJet and Medavie Blue Cross.
