The Town of Quispamsis marked a special miletone today The town’s 6 kilometre stretch of the Trans Canada or Great Canadian trail as it is now known has been officially opened.
Director of Community Services Dana Purton Dickson says they have worked hard over 4 years to get to this point.
Dickson says it is a beautiful trail that gets a lot of use as part of the active transportation system.
The official opening took place at the James Rolfe Soccer Field at the qplex at 11 oclock
