NB PC Leader Hopes PM Faces Tough Questions In Fredericton

The provincial leader for the New Brunswick Conservative party has released a statement about Justin Trudeau’s promotional tour stop in Fredericton.

In a news release, Blaine Higgs says, “It is clear that the Liberals are hoping to present this as Santa Claus coming to town. In the last 10 days over $350 million in taxpayer funded, federal-provincial spending announcements have been held.”

He hopes the Prime Minister will be questioned and challenged on his carbon tax during his stop today, and advised that in New Brunswick, nationally set targets are already being met.

In his news release, Higgs says Canadians are being forced to pay more so governments can waste more, and he states that New Brunswickers simply can’t afford anymore.

Higgs also says on Trudeau’s other stops so far on his town hall tour, he has danced around the economic and fiscal questions, and has provided no concern or answer about the sky rocketing debt of our nation due to reckless and relentless spending.
