New Brunswick Man Charged With Threatening Premier Gallant

A New Brunswick man has been charged with threatening Premier Brian Gallant.

Paul Greene of the New Brunswick RCMP confirmed to our newsroom that a 35-year-old man from Second North River, which is near Salisbury, was arrested by the Mounties on Monday night after police received information of “a possible threat towards the premier.”

Daniel LeBlanc has been charged in Moncton provincial court with uttering threats.

When asked to elaborate about the type of threat, Greene told us that was information that would come out through the court process.
