David Pastrnak scored with 46.9 seconds left in overtime to lift Boston to a 4-3 win over Detroit and snap a four game losing streak…..Goalie Carter Hutton shut down Pittsburgh, making 34 saves in a 3-0 win for St. Louis….Mike Condon stopped 31 shots for his fourth shutout of the season in Ottawa’s 3-0 win over Washington…..In other play, it was Tampa Bay 5 Chicago 2…..Los Angeles 3 New Jersey 1…..The Islanders 4 Columbus 2…..Buffalo 5 Nashville 4 in overtime….San Jose 4 Winnipeg 3 with Patrick Marleau scoring the game winner and Minnesota 3 Dallas 2 in a shootout.

At the Canadian Junior Curling Championships, in men’s play, Liam Marin of Thistle St. Andrews who’s representing New Brunswick is 3 and 3 after losing to Manitoba 8-7 and to Alberta 11-6….In women’s play, New Brunswick, represented by the Samantha Crook rink from Oromocto, is also 3 and 3 after losses to Quebec, 8-5 and 8-3 to Northern Ontario.
