UPDATE: Moncton Man In Wheelchair Killed In Train Collision

Codiac RCMP say a 29-year-old Moncton man using a wheelchair was struck and killed by a train early this morning.

Police say they received a call around 1:45-am that someone had been hit by a train in downtown Moncton.

The collision took place on the tracks in the Robinson and Victoria Street area.

CN Rail says the lights and gates were working at that crossing.

No word on the identity of the victim.

RCMP are working with CN Police in the investigation.
