It appears Hopewell Rocks is the place to go for tourists this summer, according to the increase in visits.
Property Manager Noel Hamann says between 2014 and 2015, visitation increased by 29 per cent.
If you add to that an increase of 15 per cent for this year, visits are up around 45 per cent, “This year, year to date, we have had 16, 000 additional guests over last year.”

Hamann says one of the big attractions this year, is the fallen Elephant Rock, and he thinks that is one of the reasons behind the increase in visits, “When people come, the most common comment is, where is Elephant Rock and can I see what fell.”
