National Flag Tour For Invictus Games Makes Stop In Moncton

Hundreds of injured armed services personnel and their fellow veterans will take part in the Invictus Games next month in Toronto.

As a part of raising awareness for the games, 150 flagbearers are crossing the country, visiting 22 Canadian Armed Forces, 15 legions and over 50 communities, that includes Moncton.

The National Flag Tour makes a stop at the Moncton Legion on War Veterans Avenue today at 5:30.

The Invictus Games use the power of adaptive sport to help wounded warriors on their journey to recovery.

They’ll take place September 23rd to September 30th.
