Less than a month after resigning as the leader of the provincial NDP, Dominic Cardy is joining the Progressive Conservative Party.
Leader Blaine Higgs said starting Monday, Cardy will be the Strategic Issues Director for the PCs.

Higgs and Cardy agree parties are not as important as ideas, and this is the first step in building a coalition of support reaching beyond party lines.
Cardy is looking forward to working with Higgs to improve the education system, provide better service delivery, and lower taxes all while getting the fiscal house in order.
Cardy adds he’s not changing his principles, but it is because of those principles he’s standing with Higgs and the Progressive Conservative Party.
