A man and woman are facing second-degree murder charges in the shooting death of 34-year-old Robert John Smith, also known as Bobby Martin Jr., of Fredericton.
30-year-old Evan Polchies of the Kingsclear First Nation and 23-year-old Joe-Anna Hachey of Fredericton were arrested in Benton on Sunday.
The shooting happened in the early morning hours last Thursday in Tamarack Park in Lincoln. Smith was taken to hospital but died that afternoon.
Both Polchies and Hachey have been remanded into custody.
