For the second straight year, the New England Patriots are the most disliked team in the NFL followed by the Dallas Cowboys according to a poll released by Public Policy Polling. Tom Brady is the most popular quarterback among fans surveyed at 22 per cent but also the least popular by 24 per cent of those who took part. Patriots coach Bill Belichick is viewed negatively by 34 percent of those polled.
No games last night in the NHL as the All Star break continues. Washington is first in the power rankings followed by Minnesota, Edmonton, Pittsburgh and San Jose. Montreal is 8th and Toronto is listed at 14th just ahead of Boston.
The Montreal Canadiens could be getting David Desharnais and Andrei Markov back in the lineup as early as tonight against Buffalo. Defenseman Zach Redmond has been placed on waivers and newly acquired Nikita Nesterov will play his first game tonight.
