Sad news from the world of country music.
Troy Gentry, one half of the duo, Montgomery Gentry, was killed in a helicopter crash today in New Jersey.
The duo was due to perform at a resort in Medford.
Gentry was 50 years old.
The band’s hits include Something to Be Proud Of, Gone and My Town.
