Finance Committee Wants To Hear From Police Department

With a tough city budget looming for 2018, the city’s Finance Committee wants to hear from the Saint John Board of Police Commissioners especially in light of a projected deficit at the police department as of the end of June of $330 thousand.

Common Councillor Greg Norton is a member of the Finance Committee and he has some questions he wants answered.

Norton points out public safety comprises a huge chunk of the city budget and it only makes sense for the Finance Committee to be kept in the loop.
