A ferry at Gondola Point whose cable broke is back to shore and all of those who were on it are back on dry land.
A dozen cars and the people inside them were stranded on after the cable broke this afternoon. The anchor was then dropped.
DTI spokesperson Dennis Raynes says they’re down to one ferry at Gondola Point until further notice.
