Province Argues One Size Doesn’t Fit All On Climate Change

New Brunswick must have the flexibility to develop its own policies to meet emission reduction targets as part of climate change. That word from provincial Environment Minister Serge Rouselle as he met with his Atlantic counterparts and federal Environment and Climate Change Minister Catherine McKenna.

The federal government has indicated a carbon tax could be imposed.

They did come to an agreement to work together to speed up the transition to a clean electricity future in Atlantic Canada.
