Preliminary Hearing Date Set For Moncton Man Accused Of First Degree Murder

A Moncton man appeared in Woodstock court this week, charged with first degree murder in the death of 59 year old Wayne Rattray from Tilley.

A preliminary hearing date was set for 21 year old James Melanson. He is one of three people facing murder charges in connection with Rattray’s death…

Melanson will return to court on January 23rd.

Rattray’s remains were found in the Renous area in May, months after his home and truck were destroyed by fire.

28 year old Kurt Hudnut of Moncton, and 27 year old Luke Ellick of Three Brooks are also charged.
