peaking at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, Premier Brian Gallant says the province has eight more doctors now compared to three years ago.
One of the new hires is Dr. Julius Poon, a thoracic surgeon, who came to Saint John just a few weeks ago from Quebec City.

He says the first thing that struck him when visiting Saint John was the friendliness of the staff and everyone working in the hospital.
Dr. Poon says after his recruitment trip ended, the administration was in constant contact with him answering any questions he had.
He says he has worked all over the world but Canadians medicine is second to none.
