New Brunswick Billboards Generate Controversy

Premier Brian Gallant is being accused of breaking his own promise about spending taxpayer money on self promotion.

Fredericton York M-L-A Kirk MacDonald says the province spent almost 400 thousand dollars on billboards across Canada on how good the New Brunswick economy is with 3 thousand available jobs. He calls it an alternative form of reality.

The provincial NDP is weighing in, accusing the provincial Liberals of spinning the job numbers to make themselves look good.
