The John Howard Society of New Brunswick is looking forward to having a winning bid from the tender process for a new affordable housing complex in St. Stephen.
The Society’s Bill Bastarache says the 12 unit building will house homeless adults over the age of 18 both males and female, who can live interdependently for up to a two year period.
Bastarache says they hope to break ground in the spring and have it operational by the Fall of 2018.
He says the community is 100 percent behind the project which is very nice to see.
