A 28 year old woman is facing charges after being arrested for stealing more than $400 worth of liquor.
A police officer on patrol made the arrest after the woman took off from the liquor store at Plaza Avenue on the west side. Police were responding at the time after receiving a report about a theft in progress.
Police learned the woman was also wanted for failing to appear in court on a couple of unrelated charges. She’s now accused of failing to appear in court, possession of stolen goods, fraud and theft under $5 thousand.
