A public open house is slated for late November for residents to have thier say about the proposed Central Peninsula Neighbourhood Plan.
The Saint John Growth Committee has been given a presentation outlining the three key areas of concern that need further enhancement, the Uptown, Waterloo Village and the South End Waterfront.
It calls for things like the framing of Rainbow Park and finishing Queen’s Square, re-urbanization of Crown Street and framing Chown Park and infilling of Union and Waterloo Streets.
There is also a suggestion to naturalize and reclaim access to the south waterfront.
There have been 2,000 online comments regarding the proposed plan and the public can check out more details at the meeting on November 23rd.
