Saint John Growth Committee to look into putting up signs at any major developments to promote Develop SJ.
The original plan was to have an awards banquet to showcase the best Uptown Developers, but that did not sit well with the Deputy Mayor.
Shirley McAlary would rather see signage designed and be erected at each large development in the whole city and not just the Uptown.
McAlary cited for example two 40 unit apartment buildings in Millidgeville and she says there are developers that are putting scads of money into projects and not just the Uptown.
The Deputy Mayor also says the signs need to be standard for each development, however a larger project and investment would warrant a larger sign.
