Blizzard Warning: Up To 50 Cm Of Snow Expected In Saint John

A blizzard warning is in effect with heavy snowfall beginning this evening.

Meteorologist with Environment Canada Gelas Duguay says we can expect 5-10 cm’s tonight.

He says heavy snowfall will continue tomorrow with over 40 cm expected and winds gusting 60 km/hr.

Duguay says there will be wide spread blowing snow and white out conditions for most of the day tomorrow.

By the time the storm passes, Duguay says we could have over 50 cm’s of snow dumped on the city.
