U.S. President Donald Trump seems to be talking about fake news almost all the time when the coverage is critical of him.
Nanos Research has now released a poll on how Canadians view fake news and the effect of social media on news coverage.
68 per cent of people who took part say social media has had a negative impact on news while 81 per cent say they’re worried about what they see as an increase in fake news over the internet.
Just over half of respondents don’t view as all that important C-E-O’s of leading companies using social media to communicate with the public.
