The structure was fully engulfed in fire by the time firefighters with the Kennebecasis Valley fire department arrived on the scene. It appears to have started in the upper level of the two-story home but exactly what happened isn’t yet clear.
Deputy chief Dan McCoy says the road wasn’t plowed when they arrived and so it was a challenge for them to access.
