Sears Canada has received court approval to begin the liquidation process and sales at its remaining stores are set to begin this Thursday, October 19.
Customers should take note that the retailer is not honouring product protection agreements after this Wednesday, October 18.
Sears Canada says most products come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty and those are available directly from the manufacturer.
Delivery service will continue until November 30.
During the liquidation period, Sears Canada says all sales will be final and nothing will be returnable or exchangeable.
More than 600 people work for the company’s call centres and retail stores in New Brunswick.
