NB Power will be shutting down the nuclear power plant at Point Lepreau for four or five weeks beginning on April 7th for planned maintenance.
It means you’re going to see a lot more traffic going to and from the nuclear power plant.
The maintenance will involve more than 5,000 activities with help from about 600 contractors and tradespeople from New Brunswick and elsewhere.
