The PC Leader Blaine Higgs says Monday’s meeting between the Premier and the Lt. Governor likely will not be an election call.
Higgs says the Liberal’s would be making a mistake calling an election a year early, for no reason, especially with all that has happened recently.
He cites the collapse of the energy east pipeline project and the scathing Atcon report.
Higgs says outside of the amount of tax dollars the government has spent or tax dollars raised what has really been accomplished?
However, Higgs does say if the Premier is going to send us to the polls, outside of a few nominations to be held, his party is ready for it.
