The career of a musician from Rothesay is getting a big boost.
Jaryd Stanley, who is 24 is the grand prize winner of Canada’s Walk of Fame Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program which means, among other things, he’s getting 25-thousand-dollars, private studio recording time, and an introduction to music industry artists and executives.
He says his music is definitely pop but it has many different influences, such as Soul, Rythym & Blues, Hip-Hop and even East Coast music.
Stanley, who now lives in Toronto, says he is planning to record an album in the near future.
