The Provincial Conservatives are concentrating their fire on Parlee Beach and why poor water testing results were not made public.
Provincial Conservative leader Blaine Higgs accuses provincial Health Minister Victor Boudreau of inaction and of being made aware of poor water quality late in 2014 and early in 2015.
Premier Brian Gallant says poor water quality was an issue at Parlee Beach when the Conservatives ran things and Higgs was Finance Minister. He’s asking why nothing was done back then whereas his government is acting fast to rectify the issues.
