Feeling Sick To Your Stomach?

The Department of Health is warning New Brunswickers of the stomach flu that is making the rounds.

Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach cramps.

It can also include a low-grade fever, headache, muscle aches, chills, and fatigue.

The symptoms appear roughly 24 to 48 hours after a person becomes infected with the virus.

Recovery time is usually within 48 hours.

Seniors, children, and people with weakened immune systems are at greater risk of developing a more serious illness.
