Little ghouls and goblins are seeking treats but keeping safe tonight is also important.

Extra officers from the KV Regional Police force are out patrolling to make sure everyone is safe and to deterr those who may be considering getting into some trouble.
Sgt. Evan Scott says they don’t really hear about mischief as much anymore.
He says in the last few years it’s really calmed down compared to what it was 10 or 20 years ago and a lot of places offer alternative venues for trick or treating rather than going door to door.
Scott says their presence on the streets tonight helps to slow motorists down.
