A proposal to construct an unused municipal road on the Old Neck Road in Quispamsis for future development of waterfront homes is generating some opposition. The residents who live there say they fear erosion and flooding.
Quispamsis Council is being pressed for a commitment to pave French Village Road from Kallars Hill to Elliot Road which is a distance of 1.3 kilometers. Town councillors have been told this would require the borrowing of $375 thousand dollars and has been deferred for more than 5 years.
