Thursday Morning Sports For March 30th

Simon Bourque’s goal with 3:18 left in the third period was the game winner as the Saint John Sea Dogs rallied to edge Rimouski 4-3 to sweep the four game series. Thomas Chabot had a goal and two assists while Matthew Highmore added a goal and an assist.

In the NHL, Chicago got four goals in the first period en route to a 5-1 win over Pittsburgh. The Penguins have now lost four straight…..St. Louis over Arizona 3-1….The Blues have won 11 of their past 13 games…..Washington won its sixth in a row, 5-3 over Colorado and Los Angeles beat Calgary 4-1. Jarome Iginla led the Kings with a goal and an assist.

The Saint John Riptide scored 41 points in the 4th quarter for a 117-103 win over the Windsor Express. Brian Addison was the leading Riptide scorer with 22 points. Four other Riptide players scored in double digits.

In the NBA, Russell Westbrook made league history by scoring 57 points with 13 rebounds and 11 assists in Oklahoma City’s 114-106 overtime win over Orlando, topping James Harden and Wilt Chamberlain, who each scored 53 points in a triple-double.
