The norovirus has forced the temporary suspension of visits at a Kent County Hospital.
The public will not be permitted in the medical unit of the Stella-Maris-de-Kent hospital.
The hospital is asking that anyone who is suffering from gastroenteritis symptoms, which includes vomiting and diarrhea, not to go to the hospital to visit inpatients until 48 hours after their symptoms has disappeared.
