The integrated Street Crime Unit, made up of members from City Police, Kennebecasis Regional Police and the RCMP, made two arrests after stopping a car on Westmorland Road and confiscating crack cocaine, 27 hundred dollars in cash as well as a can of bear spray which is classified as a prohibited weapon.
You might call it an apartment dweller’s worst nightmare when another tenent starts yelling which disturbs other people in the building. Police were called to an apartment on Metcalf Street, not once but twice to tell a man, who was drunk, to pipe down. Sergeant Chuck Breen says the last time he was warned and promised to keep quiet, police were returning to their car when he started up again. That’s when he was arrested and taken off to jail where Breen tells us he can yell to his heart’s content.
