Poley Mountain Enjoys Successful Ski Season

The ski season in New Brunswick has drawn to a close and given the cold, snowy winter it has proven to be a rather successful one.

Poley Mountain general manager Bill Anderson says skiing conditions were great right up until the end of March.

“We finished really, really strong. We had 92 days of skiing this year which is average, it’s on par. Anything between 90 and 100 is considered good. We had 79 days of skiing last year,” he notes.

Visitor numbers were very healthy this season too.

Anderson says snowmaking operations were ideal with more than 600 hours producing snow.

He adds he can’t remember any visitor complaining about the ski conditions.
