The RCMP have confirmed four fatalities after a structure fire in St. George yesterday afternoon. Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze which was reported around 12:20pm.
The bodies of three men, ranging in age from their 40’s to late 50’s, and their mother, in her 80’s, were found following the house fire. The youngest son was an honourary firefighter.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There didn’t appear to be that much damage on the outside of the house but reportedly there had been a lot of smoke on the inside.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
