Court Calls The Purchase Of the Old Synagogue A Good Investment

“That is a good investment”.

Former Saint John Mayor Ivan Court supports the idea of Cooke Aquaculture buying the old Synagogue at Carleton Street and Wellington Row.

He tells CHSJ News it means the company believes in the city of Saint John and it also means people will be working there and buying things in the mall.

He says the mall needs more people in the downtown core and more people coming from the South end and the North end like they used.

Court says people want their ammenities close to home and right now a lot of money is being spent to transport people including some students that come all the way from St. Martin’s to attend Bayside Middle School.
