Longtime Leafs Fan From Moncton Excited For Playoffs

Toronto Maple Leafs fans are still celebrating, now that their team has made the playoffs, and tonight, TV’s will be tuned to game one against Washington.

It’s the first time since 2013, that the team has made the playoffs.

President and CEO of Property Guys.com Ken Leblanc has always been a fan of the Leafs. He’ll be tuning in tonight and again on Saturday, but it’s game three that he is really excited about.

Leblanc grew up in Moncton, but he never really took to the Montreal Canadiens, like a lot of other kids on the East coast. His dad is a big fan as well, “I played a lot of hockey growing up, and Saturday nights at our place was always a hockey game and watching the Leafs.”

Leblanc says tonight and Saturday, he’ll be watching the game with his dad, “But for game three, we are flying to Toronto, and we will catch game three at the Air Canada Centre, which is the playoff homeopener for the Leafs.”

Leblanc says it is awesome the the Maple Leafs are in the playoffs, “Ì didn`t expect too much from the season, because the team has a lot of rookies this year. I just expected a better outcome than last year`s last place finish.” He just excited that his favourite team can be a part of the post season.

As for the Stanley Cup? One step at a time. The Maple Leafs haven’t won a Cup since 1967. But true Leaf fans never give up hope of that top NHL prize coming home to Toronto again.
