61 New Brunswick runners took part in the Boston Marathon and it was Shelley Doucet from Quispamsis who had a big day. She finished the marathon in a time of 2 hours 46 minutes and 29 seconds which is a new all-time New Brunswick women’s record. Doucet was the top New Brunswicker, finishing 29th overall among all the women and 2nd among the Canadian women.
In the NBA playoffs, it was Cleveland 117 Indiana 111 to take a 2 games to nothing lead and San Antonio 96 Memphis 82 to lead series 2 games to nothing.
