Food Prices Continue To Go Down

The inflation rate last month was 1.6 per cent as compared to 2 per cent in February.

For the sixth straight month, food prices in March fell. They declined by 1.9% in March as compared to March of 2016. Food in stores was 3.6% less expensive but restaurant food rose by 2.4%.

Gasoline prices in March were 15.2 per cent higher than they were in March of 2016.
