Three arrests have been made with the seizure of 153 thousand illegal cigarettes in northern New Brunswick.
The provincial government says the seizure came about as a result of a joint investigation involving the Department of Justice and Public Safety, the RCMP and police departments in Edmundston and Grand Falls.
The province estimates the sale of illegal tobacco costs the provincial treasury $13 million a year.
