Water Study Will Look At Meters

Universal water metering will be studied by the city at a cost of more than $123 thousand. The study will take up to a year to finish.

With water meters, you pay for the amount of water you use instead of a flat rate that will be going up next year to over $13 hundred and then more than $14 hundred dollars in 2019.

The study will take a look at the impact of meters on your water and sewer bill and whether the city can afford the upfront costs of universal metering.
