Two people from the Greater Saint John area are among the 10 who have been officially inducted into the Order of New Brunswick by chancellor of the order Lieutenant-Governor Jocelyne Roy Vienneau.
Erminie Cohen of Saint John, a former senator, has been named to the order because of her impact on adoption along with her dedication to volunteerism and compassion in helping the most vulnerable. Rothesay’s Richard J. Currie has also been named for his dedication and significant support of public education.
An order of New Brunswick medal was presented to the 10 inductees.
