Two Arrested, And $40,000 Of Drugs Seized In Raid By Fredericton Police

A man and a woman are are under arrest, after drugs and cash were seized from a home raided by Fredericton Police this week.

On Wednesday, police found $2,350 in cash, prohibited weapons, and a firearm as well as drugs including cocaine, marijuana, marijuana oil, LSD and MDMA.

The drugs are believed to have a street value of 40-thousand dollars.

19-year old Jared Stafford and 24-year old Kodi Burtt were arrested, and they both face a number of drug and weapons charges.

Those are six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of unauthorized possession of prohibited weapons, one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm and possession of property obtained crime.

Stafford also faces two additional charges – breach of a Judge’s and Peace Officer’s undertaking.

Both accused will remain in jail until their next court date on Monday.

Fredericton Police say no further details will be released to preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
